Release Notes

Review shared and product-specific changes, upgrade requirements, compatibility, and important fixes for APISIX and API7 Ingress Controller releases.

Applies to:API7 Ingress Controller (drives API7 Gateway)APISIX Ingress Controller (drives Apache APISIX)

APISIX Ingress Controller (APISIX IC) drives Apache APISIX and API7 Ingress Controller (API7 IC) drives API7 Gateway, both through Gateway API and APISIX custom resources. Starting with 2.1.0, the two projects use aligned release numbers, bringing their release history into one shared view. Aligned numbers are an editorial convention, not a shared build: each release is built and published separately, so a release number can exist on one side and not on the other. Every section below states which controllers published it in its Product table, and product-specific availability or behavior is identified where it occurs.

For releases before 2.1.0, use the separate APISIX Ingress Controller and API7 Ingress Controller release archives.

Every release has its own page. 3 releases, by release line, newest line first.
